  1. You will need:
    Painting trays
Selection of paints, greens, browns, red, orange and yellow
    Paint brushes
    A3 sheets of white paper
Go for a walk and collect a variety of leaves. Talk about the size
of leaves, their colours and how they feel.
Then when you are back indoors, allow your child to look at all the
leaves they have collected. Encourage them to talk about what
they look like and how they feel. Get them to pick their three
favourite leaves. Then ask them to choose the paint which most
    closely matches their leaves.
Let them paint one side of the leaf (the veiny side). Then press
the leaf firmly down onto the paper. Repeat this process for the
    other two leaves.
