Skill: This activity will help your child develop their knowledge of the world around them. Building from scratch helps your child to investigate construction materials.
Using some building blocks make a house or wall. Give your child some blocks and get them to copy what you have created.
Provide them with some pictures of buildings and see if they can then make a structure of their own. Let them experiment with other types of buildings. Remember to always give them encouragement and praise throughout the activity.
