Pretend Games

Skill: This activity will help your child develop their knowledge of the world around them. Pretend games allows your child to investigate objects and things around them, and to respond to them.

    themselves and recognise choices
    Provide your child with their favourite
    teddy or doll.
    Get them to pretend they are the toy.
    Ask them some questions and get them to
    answer as if they were the teddy or doll.
    Extend this by giving them two toys. They
    can now get one toy to talk to the other.

    This activity will also help them in their
    language development skills.
