Skill: This activity will help your child develop their knowledge of the world around them. Daily routines allow your child to understand the concept of before, later and soon. It also demonstrates that there are routines in role play, such as getting up, getting dressed or going to bed.

Go through some of the simple routines of the day.
e.g. putting on your shoes before you go outside,
laying the table, and getting dressed.
Split up the routine into parts and say each part as
    they do it.
Read a story that involves a routine such as getting
up or going on a walk.
These activities will also stimulate language
    development.

You can also use the flashcards on the following
